Nominate Your Neighborhood Hero

It’s that time of year again! Duluth LISC is starting to get ready for Connecting the Dots and they have just launched the nomination process for Neighborhood Heroes! As you probably know, Connecting the Dots is the At Home in Duluth collaborative’s annual celebration of progress in our core neighborhoods and is also where Neighborhood Heroes are recognized – outstanding individuals, families and groups who are real leaders in neighborhood revitalization. Connecting the Dots will be on November 5th this year, again at Clyde Park; doors will open at 8:30 a.m. and the event will run through noon. More information on tables and sponsorships will be available in the next few days.

But first Duluth LISC needs your help: attached is the 2011 Neighborhood Heroes Nomination Form. Could you please circulate it widely through your contacts and among your colleagues? They want to encourage truly broad participation in the nominating process. The form is also on their website.

We have many things to celebrate in Duluth, and recognizing neighborhood leadership is near the top of our list.
