The City of Duluth Planning Division invites the public to a meeting to discuss the proposed Module 3 of the Unified Development Chapter, of the City of Duluth Legislative Code, on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at 6:00 PM in the St. Louis River Room at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center. The Clarion Associates team, a firm hired to assist the City in drafting new land use regulations, will make a presentation. City staff will also be available.

Module 3 focuses on development standards such as landscaping, parking, and signs. The Natural Resources Overlay and the Dimensional Tables will also be released at this time.

The UDC will replace Chapter 50, Zoning Regulations, and other sections of the City’s Code dealing with zoning and development. The new code is anticipated to be completed and presented to the City Council for adoption in summer 2010.
